Step 10: Enroll in or Waive Health Insurance

 

Due: September 15th - Summer & Fall Semesters
Due: February 15th - Spring Semesters

The earliest registered students can complete this step is
July 15th (Summer/Fall entry) or
January 2nd (Spring entry).

All full-time students are required to have health insurance. New students will receive a letter or email from MMC Counseling & Wellness Center explaining the enrollment or waiver process in June (or December for Spring entry). You must either enroll in the MMC Health Insurance Plan or waive and use your family's own insurance plan.

Keep in mind that out of state insurance may not provide coverage in New York.

All international students are enrolled automatically in the MMC Health Insurance Plan unless they provide detailed documentation prior to the due date noted above of a comparable insurance plan that is effective in the United States.
