Apply for Admission

Undergraduate admission to Marymount Manhattan College is competitive and prospective students are evaluated on a rolling admission basis. Prospective students are encouraged to apply for admission only when they feel they are most qualified based on highest SAT or ACT scores, best GPA, and othe factors. Students are urged to apply after their fall high school semester, or current college semester, grades are included if GPA is much below our averages. MMC offers scholarships based on academic achievement and talent, as well as need-based financial aid.

Full-time, degree-seeking students are automatically considered for MMC academic scholarships once they are accepted to the College.

Students who previously attended MMC must complete the readmit process through the Office of Academic Advisement. You may reach the office at 212-517-0568.

Students may request an application packet or apply online (see below for two online links). We are currently accepting applications for Summer 2010, Fall 2010 and Spring 2011. There are also several Instant Decision Days held throughout the year in which a student can participate to obtain an on-the-spot decision, tour and individual meeting with a counselor. Please call or schedule an Instant Decision.

  1. Application checklist
    Print this list to quickly and conveniently check off the admission requirements as you complete them.

  2. Complete the MMC Online Application or the Common Application. Now that you've got some background, you're ready to begin your application.

  3. Recommendation forms
    Print the recommendation forms and give them to your teacher, counselor and/or employer to complete.

  4. Judicial Record FormTo be completed by transfer or non-degree students who attended a previous college or university. Print and give the form to your Dean of Students to complete and mail to us.

  5. Homeschool Student Information Form To be completed by students who have been homeschooled at any time during high school and submitted with their homeschool transcript.

  6. Alternative download and print your MMC Application or Common Application & Common Application Supplement. You may print the application form directly, fill out, and send it using regular mail to the Office of Admission.
