Get to Know a Griffin Transfer -

Howard Rapp

howard_rapp

Hometown: Yonkers, New York

Transferred to MMC: Fall 2010

Previous College: SUNY Westchester Community College

Graduated from High School: June 2008

How did you choose MMC?

My transfer counselor was a key part of it. He guided me through the process and was there every step of the way. Simply put, he made it very easy. I also liked the professor's qualifications as well as their attitudes.

What is your major?

B.A. Communication Arts: Creative Media Concentration

What is your favorite class?

It's a tie between Sense and Medium and Interpersonal Communication

What is it like living on/off campus?

Living off campus is not too bad. While on my lengthy commute, I read, people watch, and

absorb New York City.

What extracurricular activities do you like?

I have a morning show every Thursday on WMMC Griffin Radio (The Wakeup Call), I am a member of MMC Hillel, the Mock Trial Team, and the Feminists Majority Alliance. I like to blog for the admission office, and I still assist the comedy club I was involved with at my previous school.

Future Goals:

Graduate MMC with a 3.9GPA or higher. Attend a top 20 law school. Land w/in the top 20 on the Forbes list. Become a philanthropist and make a change in the world.
