Find a Place to Live

Full-time MMC students have the option to live in one of our residence halls, and approximately 800 students choose to make their home on our campus. The 55th Street Residence, provides suite-style accommodations and individual lines for cable, telephone and computer access. de Hirsch has single and double rooms in a corridor-style facility and is equipped with a weekly maid service and a gym facility

Applying for residence
Once you've been accepted to MMC, you will need to complete your housing application and send in your $200 tuition deposit and $500 non-refundable housing deposit by May 1 (fall entry) or December 1 (spring entry). In June, you will receive an information packet, and you will receive your housing assignment in August. For more information about applying for housing, see Applying for Residence Life.

The College also assists students who are interested in finding housing off campus. The Office of Student Affairs maintains a current list of alternative residences in New York City and compiles listings of room and apartment rentals in the college area, as well as information about live-in childcare positions.
