Marymount Manhattan has a long history of reaching out to diverse populations in need of higher education. Over the years, the College's mission has expanded to serve a greater variety of students from different ethnic, geographic and socioeconomic backgrounds. It is our goal at MMC to help meet the financial need of every one of our talented and enthusiastic students. Increased financial aid will protect and expand the College's capacity to provide a high-quality education to a diverse group of students, thus furthering a crucial aspect of MMC's mission.
$8,852,597 was given to students in FY2007 for financial aid.
79% of the student body receives financial aid (grants, scholarships and loans).
The Challenge:
To provide the diverse population of Marymount Manhattan students with an affordable college education.
The Need:
$10 million for need-based aid.
The Solution:
Need-based grants will increase the College's ability to provide immediate financial support for students who need help most, expanding the economic diversity of our student body.
