This is the Day, the most ambitious campaign in Marymount Manahattan's history, marks a decisive step toward a new era for the College. We take this step secure in the knowledge that our goals are strategic and attainable, thanks to the unwavering support of alumni and friends throughout our history. As we honor the College's past, we embrace the challenges ahead.
This is the Day will raise funds to increase financial aid for students in need; provide capital improvements, such as the Lowerre Family Terrace, to enhance the look and feel of our unique campus; and implement fixed-term faculty chairs to provide exceptional faculty with greater resources. These enhancements will attract, retain and support a talented and diverse community of students, faculty and staff.
I encourage you to consider the challenges and opportunities that face the College. Consider how you may be able to provide support for an institution that aims to continue building on its tradition of academic achievement and personal growth.
