ART: John Canemaker '74 Art Exhibit

MMC alumnus and Academy Award winning animator, John Canemaker '74 will share hand-drawn animation cells from "The Moon and the Son: An Imagined Conversation." This 28-minute film, for which Canemaker won the 2006 Oscar for best animated short, explores his troubled relationship with his Italian immigrant father.
John Canemaker is an internationally recognized animator and animation historian. His projects have won Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, an Ace Award, and a Peabody Award. His independent animated shorts are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
