Assistant Professor of History Jennifer Milligan and Associate Professor of English Peter Naccarato will discuss gender politics in early 20th-century England, with a particular emphasis on how Major Barbara engages issues of women’s status in society.
This four-part dialogue series gathers together faculty members from across the college to explore the MMC fall productions of Major Barbara and Our Town from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. These discussions will engage the plays as responses to and reflections of history. We hope they enrich your viewing of the MMC productions. These events are free and open to the entire MMC community and to the public. All dialogues will begin at 7:15 PM.
