Major Barbara and Our Town in Context: Interdisciplinary Dialogues - Death, Dying, and Existential Concerns in Our Town

October 1, 2008
Date: Wednesday, October 1
Time: 7:15-8:15pm
Location: 8th Floor, Main Building, Marymount Manhattan College
Contact: Please feel free to contact Jill Stevenson (jstevenson@mmm.edu) with any questions.

Associate Professor of Philosophy Mark Conard and Adjunct Professor of Psychology Diana Nash will lead a conversation about how Our Town explores issues that surround death and dying.

This four-part dialogue series gathers together faculty members from across the college to explore the MMC fall productions of Major Barbara and Our Town from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. These discussions will engage the plays as responses to and reflections of history. We hope they enrich your viewing of the MMC productions. These events are free and open to the entire MMC community and to the public. All dialogues will begin at 7:15 PM.
