200 YEARS OF ANGOLAN LITERATURE

Professor Martins will discuss two centuries of lyrical representations of the principal themes of Angolan literature:
Angola As promised land; the negra and the mulata; the colonial wars WITH PORTUGAL; and independent angola.

Sponsored by the Spanish Department, the English Department, and the International Studies program.
