MMC’s Theatre Production Workshop presents Oliver Goldsmith’s She Stoops to Conquer. In this production, Mr. Hardcastle has arranged a marriage for his daughter Kate with the young Charles Marlow, the son of the late Sir Charles Marlow. This parental decree sets in motion this 18th-century comedy of manners that is shaken by disguises, misrecognitions and counter-plots. Students in MMC’s Theatre Arts programs perform alongside direction by Kevin Connell. An opening night reception will follow the first performance on Wednesday, April 15. Admission is free for MMC students, alumni, faculty, and staff with valid MMC ID card. General admission is $10; admission for senior citizens and all other students with valid ID is $5.
