“Needs to Be Seen” is a cross-cultural look at the ways the body is directed in work and worship and highlights the special architecture of the body once it is in a state of deeper awareness. These images of people in cultures, where the act of worship and the action of work are not very far apart, remind us that vigilance, taking notice, is what we must all do. An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 19 in the Hewitt Gallery of Art.
