Richard West Sellars, a retired National Park Service historian and author, will be the Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow at Marymount Manhattan in Spring 2009. He will be in residence at the College from March 16-20. Dr. Sellars’ visit to Marymount Manhattan connects with “The Year of the Environment,” a college-wide effort to raise awareness of environmental issues through coursework, events and activities. Dr. Sellars will deliver his lecture, “America’s National Parks and the Rise of an Environmental Ethic,” in the Theresa Lang Theatre on Tuesday, March 17 at 6:30 p.m. The lecture is free, but space is limited.
