July 27: MMC Invites Alumni to Screening of The Defiant Ones at the HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival

Join the MMC Alumni Association at Bryant Park and see The Defiant Ones. The Office of Alumni Relations will reserve a spot on the lawn near the corner of 42nd Street and 6th Avenue, and will also provide a picnic dinner. Please arrive at 6 p.m. so that we can hold our spot.
The Defiant Ones first premiered in 1958 and stars Sidney Poitier and Tony Curtis as opposites unhappily shackled together after escaping from a chain-gang in the South. As they flee from the police, director Stanley Kramer showcases the humorous and moving situations featuring memorable characters the fugitives come across as they fight for their lives.
