This exhibition juxtaposes the fall of the Berlin Wall with the fall of the World Trade Center and is curated by Artist Exchange International with artists from Berlin. November 9 marks the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Artists Lilly Grote and Blonay Fuchs are from former West Berlin; Ulla Walter and Michel Arantes Müller are from former East Berlin. Lucas Böttcher represents a generation of younger Berlin artists that have not witnessed the era of the divided city. An opening reception will be held Monday, November 2, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. in the Hewitt Gallery of Art.
