Sept. 24: The Theatre Arts Department Presents "Comedy as Critique: As You Like It and Social Commentary in Elizabethan Culture"

This four-part dialogue series gathers together faculty and students in order to explore the MMC productions of Girl Gone and As You Like It. "Comedy as Critique: As You Like It and Social Commentary in Elizabethan Culture" will feature a discussion about the historical tradition of comedy as social commentary. Participants will include Zoe Kaplan (Adjunct Professor of Theatre Arts); Donny Levit (Adjunct Instructor in Theatre Arts); Cati Pishal (BA in Theatre Arts; student dramaturg for As You Like It); and Michael Rock (Adjunct Instructor of Theatre Arts).
