Oct. 14: The Theatre Arts Department Presents "Space and Place in Shakespeare's England"

This four-part dialogue series gathers together faculty and students in order to explore the MMC productions of Girl Gone and As You Like It. “Space and Place in Shakespeare’s England” will feature a discussion about the relationship between stage space, the placement of theatres in the city, and theatre’s social role in Elizabethan England. Participants will include Maggie Bruen (Adjunct Professor of Communications Arts; screenwriter and film producer); Gretchen Engle (B.A. in Theatre Arts; lighting designer for As You Like It); Joseph C. Liddicoat (Adjunct Instructor of Science); Rebecca Stump (B.A. in Theatre Arts; student dramaturg for As You Like It); Aaron Switzer (B.A. in Theatre Arts; set designer for As You Like It).
