Midsummer Night Swing, now in its 22nd season, heats up Damrosch Park with the rhythms that keep New York dancing. Join the Office of Alumni Relations for an evening swing dancing to the music of the JC Hopkins Biggish Band. Biggish Band singers Champian Fulton and singer/tapper Dewitt Fleming Jr., have shared the stage with several of downtown's most fabulous divas, including legendary Billie Holiday acolyte Joey Arias, iconic torch singer Justin Bond, and the hard swinging Broadway star Lea DeLaria. Solomon & Lemington will begin the swing lesson at 6:30 p.m., and JC Hopkins Biggish Band will go on at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are limited for this event, so if interested, please contact us as soon as possible.
