(New York, NY) – Marymount Manhattan College is hosting a three-day weekend celebration for families, friends and alumni of the College, October 22-24, 2010.

Events scheduled during Family, Friends and Alumni Weekend include faculty and staff panel discussions, receptions, campus tours, a flag football game, a talent show and the Mainstage Theatre Production of Reckless, a play by Craig Lucas.

“This weekend brings parents, families, friends, alumni, faculty and staff together to share a weekend of learning and community-building at the College,” said Carol L. Jackson, Ph.D., Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students. “We hope everyone will enjoy the events we have scheduled. There will be opportunities for social gatherings with faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni; lots of faculty and student panels; the dean’s list convocation and our annual flag football game.”

Reckless, directed by Ellen Orenstein, will be performed in the Theresa Lang Theatre from Wednesday, October 20 through Saturday, October 23 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, October 24 at 2 p.m. To reserve tickets, please contact the Theatre Office at (212) 774-0760 or theatretickets@mmm.edu beginning two weeks prior to opening night.
