The Student Government Association is hosting a Millennium Development Goal (MDG) Week, which will serve as Marymount Manhattan College’s implementation of the United Nations Academic Impact. Representatives will be stationed throughout the College to inform the MMC community about MDG Week. SGA representatives will be available in the Hewitt Gallery of Art (MDG Information Desk). The International Studies Club is displaying posters of the goal they feel most passionate about in the Nugent Lounge. Marymount Business Association and Student Political Association are selling candy grams to raise money for Heifer International in the Commons. The Historian Association and Mock Trial Club are making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which will later be brought to a shelter, in the Regina Peruggi Room.
