The Student Government Association is hosting a Millennium Development Goal (MDG) Week, which will serve as Marymount Manhattan College’s implementation of the United Nations Academic Impact. Tuesday will be dedicated to screening films that promote the Millennium Development Goals and show the extreme levels of poverty and exploitation throughout the world. After each film, students will have the opportunity to discuss their opinions about the films with faculty and/or filmmakers. Feature films include Who Killed the Electric Car?, Good Fortune, Sisters on the Planet and End of Poverty.
