Feb. 24: Theatre Production Workshop Dialogue Series Features J. B. Priestley's Time and the Conways

The Theatre Production Workshop Dialogue Series returns this spring semester on Thursday, February 24 with a discussion about the College’s first main stage production of the season, J. B. Priestley’s Time and the Conways. Kent Worcester, Ph.D., professor of political science, will discuss the historic context of Britain in the 1930s. Ellen Anthony Moore, M.F.A., adjunct assistant professor of theatre arts, will discuss Priestley as playwright in the context of British theatre of the time. Roy Tietze, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology, will discuss the impact of jazz and American popular music on Britain during the inter-war years. Jason Rosenfeld, Ph.D., associate professor of art history, will look at British art of the period. Mark Ringer, Ph.D., professor of theatre arts, will convene the panel.

This event is free and open to the entire MMC community and to the public.
