Join the Division of the Social Sciences and International Studies Club as they present a panel discussion about the unfolding events in the Middle East. Panelists include:
Richard W. Murphy: former U.S. Ambassador to Mauritania, Syria, Philippines and Saudi Arabia, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs , and former President of Middle East Institute
Talal Al-Haj: award-winning journalist and New York/United Nations Bureau Chief for the Al-Arabiya News Channel
Alon Ben-Meir: expert on Middle East politics and affairs, specializing in peace negotiations between Israel and the Arab states, Senior fellow at New York University’s School of Global Affairs, and Middle Eastern Studies Project Director at the World Policy Institute.
