MMC Holds Record Open House

(New York, NY) On Sunday, November 21st, MMC held its annual open house for prospective students. This year's event saw record numbers as a total of 215 high schoolers (an increase of 35 over last year's total) and their families came to tour the College and hear presentations from faculty.
"We saw a lot more students where MMC is their first choice college and many said that they had attended open houses at other colleges over the last few weekends and ours was by far the best," commented Tom Friebel, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services and Dean of Admissions.
Friebel was delighted to receive close to 50 e-mails from parents after Sunday's open house commending him and his staff for a job well done. One mother observed, "We have been to many colleges over the course of the last several years with our daughters and my husband and I think yours was the best organized and smoothest running. Considering the amount of people you accommodated and the logistics of dealing with NYC, this was quite an accomplishment."
This year's event added a new feature with buses transporting prospective students and their parents to MMC's 3 residence hall locations.
