In 1971, Daniel Ellsberg, a high-level Pentagon official and Vietnam War strategist, concluded that the Vietnam War was based on decades of lies and leaked 7,000 pages of top secret documents to The New York Times, making headlines around the world.

The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers tells the riveting story of how one man’s profound change of heart created a landmark struggle involving American’s newspapers, its president and Supreme Court – a political thriller whose events led directly to Watergate, Nixon’s resignation and the end of the Vietnam War.

The Division of Social Sciences and the Political Science Department invites you to a screening of the film, followed by a question and answer session that will be led by Kent Worcester, Ph.D., Marymount Manhattan professor of political science. Light refreshments will be served.
