MMC Theatre Production Workshop presents the musical Rags, with book by Joseph Stein, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and music by Charles Strouse. Rags is set in the early 20th century, and follows immigrants searching to find their place in America. The search is personal and historic, as Rebecca, the young immigrant mother of ten year old David, searches for her long gone husband, Nathan. We share in her search and discovery of the danger and dark side of American politics, and, perhaps, in her finding love. This production is performed by students in the theatre arts programs of the College with direction and choreography by Barbara Siman, musical direction by Christine Riley, scenic design by Ray Recht, lighting design by Adam Steinbauer, and projection design by Ido Levran.
