DANCE: Spring Repertoire

This season the MMC Dance Department will present distinguished works by leading choreographers in the dance arena. Our Spring Concert series will be held in the College's 249-seat Theresa Lang Theatre. In keeping with the mission of the Department, the program will provide a variety of dance styles. This season's Spring Repertoire features Twyla Tharp's "Torelli," excerpts from Jacqulyn Buglisi's "Requiem," Robert Battle's "The Hunt," Jiri Kylian's "Nomaden" and an innovative new work by William Soleau.
Performances: Thurs., April 28th through Sat., April 30th at 8pm; Sat., April 30th at 2pm; Thurs., May 5th at 8pm; and Sat., May 7th at 2pm and 8pm.
Admission is $12 for general admission; free for MMC students, faculty and staff with valid I.D., and $8 for senior citizens and students from other colleges with I.D.

A special gala benefit will be held on Friday, May 6th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $60 in advance; $65 at the door. Proceeds from the gala go to benefit the MMC Dance Company, a not-for-profit student performance company. Call (212) 517-0610 for reservations and information.
