MMC Holds Second Annual Golf Tournament

(Waccabuc, NY) On Monday, June 20, 2005, Marymount Manhattan College hosted its second annual Golf Tournament at Waccabuc Country Club in Waccabuc, NY. The tournament brought out close to eighty golfers and raised over $60,000 for Marymount Manhattan.
The tournament honored Jack Griffin, President of Meredith Publishing Group, with the 2005 Corporate Leadership Award. Prizes were also awarded to the three best scoring foursomes, the longest drive and the shot closest to the tee.
Co-chairs included Wendy Baker, Christine Nevin '74, Kathy Strickland and Paul Walker. Proceeds from the tournament will help Marymount Manhattan continue to provide a high quality liberal arts education through a variety of college initiatives.
