Thirteen New Professors Join Marymount Manhattan Faculty

(New York, NY) Marymount Manhattan College is pleased to welcome thirteen new professors for the start of the new academic year. Experts in a variety of subjects, they bring a diverse knowledge to the MMC community, and will enrich the academic experience of our students. The new faculty members are as follows:
Corinne Crawford, M.B.A., C.P.A. Assistant Professor of Accounting Professor Crawford earned a Master's in Business Administration at Pace University. She served previously as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University and Iona College.
Carmela "Millie" Falcaro, M.F.A. Assistant Professor of Art Professor Falcaro earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Hartford, specializing in Photography. She previously taught at MMC as an adjunct professor and now makes the transition to the tenure track.
Matthew Paldy, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Business Management Professor Paldy earned a doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Rhode Island. He joins Marymount Manhattan College after serving as an Adjunct Professor at St. Joseph's College. Professor Paldy specializes in Organizational Structures, Self-Organization and Organizational Effectiveness.
Vladimir V. Pashkevich, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Business Management Professor Pashkevich earned a doctorate in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati. Before accepting the position with Marymount Manhattan College, he taught as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Montana State University. Professor Pashkevich specializes in Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, International Marketing, and Advertising and Promotion.
Morgan Schwartz, M.F.A. Assistant Professor of Communication Arts Professor Schwartz earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in affiliation with Tufts University. He served as a Visiting Professor at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts before joining the faculty at Marymount Manhattan College.
Anastacia Kurylo, M.A. Instructor of Communication Arts Professor Kurylo earned a Master's degree in Speech & Interpersonal Communication at New York University and is a doctoral candidate in Communication at Rutgers University. Prior to joining Marymount Manhattan College, she taught at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York University, Pace University, Rutgers University, and St. John's University. Her research interests include the examination of stereotype use in interpersonal, intercultural, and organizational contexts.
Sejal A. Shah, M.F.A. Assistant Professor of English Professor Shah earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in English at the University of Massachusetts. She joins MMC after serving as a Writer-in-Residence at Luther College in Iowa, specializing in Fiction and Non-Fiction.
Cecilia A. Feilla, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of English Professor Feilla earned a doctorate in Comparative Literature at New York University. She comes to Marymount Manhattan College after having taught at Edgewood College in Wisconsin as an Assistant Professor.
Philip Ording, M.A. Instructor of Mathematics Professor Ording earned a Masters in Mathematics and is a doctoral candidate at Columbia University, specializing in Geometry and Topology. He joins Marymount Manhattan College after having taught Mathematics as an Instructor at Columbia University.
David Gandolfo, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Philosophy Professor Gandolfo earned a doctorate in Philosophy at Loyola University, Chicago, specializing in Sociopolitical Philosophy. Prior to joining Marymount Manhattan College, he taught as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Furman University in South Carolina.
Kelsey A. Jordahl, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Physics Professor Jordahl earned a doctorate in Oceanography at Massachusetts Institute of Technology/ Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. He joins Marymount Manhattan College after having served as a Lecturer at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He specializes in Physics, Earth Science and Oceanography.
Clare N. Lowell, Ed. D. Assistant Professor of Teacher Education Professor Lowell earned a doctorate in Education at Hofstra University. She taught English for 18 years at Herricks High School and Middle School then served as a Curriculum Associate at East Williston School before joining Marymount Manhattan College.
Kirche L. Zeile, M.F.A. Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts Professor Zeile earned a Master of Fine Arts degree at New York University Tisch School of Arts. She was a Teaching Artist at the Roundabout Theatre, specializing in Costume Design and Theatre History, prior to accepting the position of Assistant Professor at Marymount Manhattan College.
