Hewitt Gallery of Art: From the Gulf Coast

The Hewitt Gallery of Art has extended an exhibition opportunity to professional Gulf Coast artists adversely affected by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. While the works in the exhibit are diverse, these artists are connected through the trauma they experienced and their determination to continue to be creative. Artists include Elizabeth Bick, Shawn Hall, Vidho Lorville, Category 5 Arts (Ruth Robbins, Anne Cushwa, and Geryll Robbins), Christopher Saucedo, and Zack Smith.
Exhibition dates: February 27 – March 29
Opening reception: Thursday, March 2, 6 – 8 p.m., Hewitt Gallery of Art
