MMC Instructor Anastacia Kurylo Honored at Communication Conference

(Montclair, NJ) On Saturday, March 25, MMC Communication Arts Instructor Anastacia Kurylo was honored at the New Jersey Communication Association Conference in Montclair, NJ.
Kurylo (pictured here) received a plaque of appreciation that read, "The New Jersey Communication Association offers our deepest appreciation and thanks to Anastacia Kurylo for going above and beyond the call of duty to move us into our second decade."
Four MMC students also took part in the conference as members of a panel called "Culture Jamming: Creative Approaches to Media Criticism," that grew out of MMC's Fall 2005 Media Criticism course. Participating students were Sherrise Pierre, Caitlin Leonetti, Jessica Furlow and Ashley Kirwan. Communication Arts Department Chair Katie LeBesco accompanied them to the conference.
The New Jersey Communication Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the open exchange of ideas, information and research about communication.
