Connecting People Conference: Management of the Performing Voice

Sponsored by the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, this conference, entitled "Management of the Performing Voice," is intended for voice and speech instructors, performers, teachers, public speakers and students.
When: May 5, 2006, 3-5pm
Where: The Regina Peruggi Room, Marymount Manhattan College
The conference will feature two distinguished speakers: Lucian Sulica, M.D., board-certified otolaryngologist and fellowship-trained laryngologist and Director of Voice Disorders/Laryngology at Weill Medical College/Cornell University, and Ryan C. Branski, Ph.D., Assistant Attending Speech Scientist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Topics of discussion will include Anatomy and Physiology of the Vocal Mechanism, Description of Voice Disorders and Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Voice Disorders.
