DANCE: Fall Repertoire
December 7, 2006
This season the MMC Dance Department will present distinguished works by five faculty members in our Fall Concert series. In keeping with the philosophy of the department, the program will provide a variety of dance styles.
The fall repertoire includes pieces by faculty member Pat Catterson, renowned choreographer of over 90 works; artist-in-residence Denise Vale, former member of the Martha Graham Dance Company; and faculty member Geoffrey Doig-Marx, named one of the "Nine Dancemakers Making History" by Dance Spirit Magazine. Two additional faculty pieces will be presented to round out the program and the department's desire to showcase new contemporary works.
When: December 7 – 9 at 8 p.m.; December 9 also at 2 p.m. Where: The Theresa Lang Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College Tickets: General admission: $12; senior citizens and students with ID from other schools: $8.
