MMC Board Welcomes Two New Trustees

(New York, NY) The Marymount Manhattan College Board of Trustees has approved two new members, Natan Wekselbaum and Paul Galiano.
Mr. Wekselbaum, a long time supporter of Marymount Manhattan, owns Gracious Home, the Manhattan-based housewares store. Gracious Home emphasizes customer service and stocks a variety of housewares, home furnishings, and hardware. Founded in 1963 by Mr. Wekselbaum and his brother, the store now has two locations, employs about 450 people, and is ranked on the Crain’s New York Business list of largest minority-owned businesses in the New York area. Mr. Wekselbaum immigrated to the United States from Cuba in 1961.
Mr. Galiano is the senior managing director for co-acquisitions, dispositions, capital markets and JV transactions at Tishman Speyer, the leading real estate development company. He served previously as the company's treasurer, and was responsible for Tishman Speyer's tax strategies. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer in 1993, Mr. Galiano specialized in real estate taxation for Arthur Andersen & Co. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the board of directors for the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Galiano is a graduate of Pace University.
