DANCE: Spring Repertoire

This season the MMC Dance Department will present distinguished works by leading choreographers at the Spring Repertoire. In keeping with the mission of the Department, the program will showcase a variety of dance styles. This season’s Spring Repertoire features Pedro Ruiz’s Guajira, Twyla Tharp’s The Fugue, Doug Varone’s Of the Earth Far Below, an original work by Graham Lustig, Artistic Director of the American Repertory Ballet, and an exciting reconstruction from David Parsons.

Performances: Thursday, April 26, 8 pm; Friday, April 27, 8 pm; Saturday, April 28, 2 pm and 8 pm; Thursday, May 3, 8 pm; Saturday, May 5, 2 pm and 8 pm.
Tickets: General admission: $12; senior citizens and non-MMC students (with ID): $8; alumni: $6. Admission is free for MMC students, faculty, and staff with valid MMC ID card.

A special gala benefit will be held on Friday, May 4 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $60 in advance; $65 at the door. Proceeds from the gala benefit the MMC Dance Company. Call (212) 517-0610 for reservations and information.
