MMC Gallery Exhibit: "Shape, Color, and Form"
April 26, 2004
Exhibition dates: April 26 - May 22
Opening reception: Thursday, April 29, 6 - 8pm
Using images in space, elements of design, and illusions of volume, these artists are transforming their thoughts into non-representational visual ideas. Tone Voke's paintings have been influenced by boat and helicopter propellers, wind generators, and tree seeds. Hiroshi Kumagai's work speaks to conformity and group dynamics, and the corruption of organization. Emil Geering's enamals show us that color can be evasive, contradictory, beautiful, sensuous, lovely, and fun! For more information, call (212) 517-0690.
