Theatre: The Grapes of Wrath

MMC Theatre Production Workshop presents John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath, adapted by Frank Galati. An American classic of the Great Depression in a powerful stage adaptation, the play conveys with immediacy and simplicity the strength of the human spirit as the Joad family journeys from the Dust Bowl to the fertile fields of California in search of a better life. This production is performed by students in the Theatre Arts programs of the College with direction by David Mold, scenic design by Robert Dutiel, costume design by Kirche Leigh Zeile, lighting design by Lisa Hufnagel, choreography by Haila Strauss, music direction by Rebecca Fasanello, voice & text coaching by Jeff Morrison, and fight choreography by Ron Piretti. Opening night reception will follow the performance on Wednesday, November 14th.

Performances: November 14 – 17 at 8pm, November 18 at 2pm

Tickets: General admission: $10; senior citizens, students, & alumni with valid ID: $5; TDF vouchers accepted. Admission is free for MMC students, faculty, and staff with valid MMC ID card.
