Edna O'Brien

Edna O’Brien’s works of fiction include The Country Girls, Down by the River, and Lantern Slides, which won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. O’Brien has also written a book about James Joyce, and she received the 2002 Medal of Honor for literature from the National Arts Club.
