MMC Student-Sponsored Dinner “Food for Thought” Alumni Event

Alumni will sit together at this very special MMC Student Outreach initiative. MMC Outreach is a student led group that actively pursues various local and national volunteer opportunities and this year, hosted MMC’s first Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week.
Every year the students go on an Alternative Spring Break trip where they engage in an entire week of volunteering outside of the NY metro area. This year, they have decided to travel to Washington D.C. to volunteer with the homeless. They we are working with three respected organizations, National Coalition for the Homeless, Community for Creative Non-Violence, and the Community of Hope, and will be participating in a variety of service activities ranging from helping in shelters and soup kitchens to reading to children.
Dinner includes beverages, a buffet dinner and dessert. All proceeds from this event will help to fund our trip.
