Marymount Manhattan College offers a BA in Studio Art and a BA in Art History. The 42 credit Studio Art, Photography, Graphic Design and Art History concentrations provide students with a thorough foundation in the visual arts. In addition Art Majors may choose from a number of minors, including Arts Management, Art Therapy, Art History, Studio Art, Graphic Design, Photography as well as minors in other academic disciplines. MMC provides the flexibility to fashion a program of study suited to each student’s goals. The Hewitt Gallery of Art, located in the Esplanade and adjacent Black and White Galleries of the College, is a laboratory for and an extension of the pedagogy of the Art Department program.
