Health Insurance
All students enrolled for 12 or more credits at Marymount Manhattan College are required to have adequate health insurance.
At the beginning of every academic year (or the start of the Spring semester for new students), every student enrolled for 12 or more credits is REQUIRED to verify that they have health insurance or enroll in the insurance plan offered by the College.
International students are required to carry the school-sponsored plan and are automatically enrolled, regardless of current health care coverage from their home countries.
Information about the College-sponsored health plan from United Healthcare can be found at www.uhcsr.com . Type in Marymount Manhattan College to read details about the College's plan. To enroll in the College-sponsored insurance plan or to inform MMC that you have your own insurance, go to the MMC Portal and find the insurance section. The entire process is quick and easy.
If you are enrolled in the United Healthcare plan through MMC, and you would like some tips on using your plan, please view the United Healthcare Cheat Sheet.
