Campus Ministry
Our multi-faith Campus Ministry assists in the development of the spiritual and religious lives of students, staff, and faculty. We provide individual spiritual direction or counseling and opportunities for expression of all faith traditions that promote inter-religious understanding. In addition, we promote linking spirituality or faith to other areas of expression such as, dance, music, theatre, art, community service and discussion.
Staff: Rebecca Buchanan Ph. D., the Director of Campus Ministry counsels students and staff on spiritual or religious matters as needed, provides guidance in ethical reflection and decision making, and offers support and challenge in the spiritual development of each person.
Our campus minister, Rabbi Philip Hiat, D.DIV provides spiritual direction to students, staff, and faculty.
Office Location: The Campus Ministry offices are located inside the multi-faith center on the 4th floor of the Main Building, room 412.
Multi-faith Center: The multi-faith center is open to all for prayer, mediation and/or reflection. At times, services, meditation sessions, special prayers, or events are scheduled here.
Religious Clubs and Activities: Students of all faith traditions are encouraged to form clubs and provide activities. Please check with the Office of Student Development & Activities for a list of active clubs.
