THE BUSINESS CAPITAL OF THE WORLD
Jackie Foy
Division of Accounting and Business Management Representative
Ever thought that testers and samplers were just for products you bought at the store? Not true! This tactic can also be applied to real life situations! An internship is a great way to ‘test out’ an occupation before you graduate college. In today’s world of modern business, only the strong survive – a serious set of skills and great experience are both necessary to stand out amongst competition. New York City has long been called the “business capital of the world,” and our Accounting and Business Management division has the internships to prove it. The division’s board, located on the 5th floor Nugent, provides an array of information. For example, two currently available internships are at the NY Observer and the Versace Press Office. The NY Observer is looking for several interns for their advertising and sales/marketing department. The Versace Press Office is looking for numerous positions to be filled in the PR and managerial departments. However, Professor Crawford noted that she and the other Professors are willing and able to assist students apply and obtain internships that are not officially posted through Marymount. For more information or any questions, concerns, etc., please feel free to email Jackie Foy, the Accounting and Business Management Divisional Representative, at jfoy@mmm.edu. |
