Marymount Performance Project
To provide the artist community of Marymount Manhattan College with a weekly group that allows for experimentation and play with different art forms, questions, and ideas that concern the arts and society as well. Our goal is to push the envelope of art as a whole by using a variety of approaches to the question "what is performance?" This can be done in any way, shape or form as long as it is done in the spirit of the question. Marymount Performance Project will also have a playwriting division dedicated to creating the latest and greatest in the world of stage plays. The group will be committed to exploring these plays in different varieties. The ultimate goal is to create a network of artists at MMC that we can turn to during and after our college years.
