Marymount Filmmaking Association
We are a group of representative students from Marymount Manhattan College who wish to explore the art of creative digital film making. The Filmmaking Association, of MFA, will do this by gathering students from different backgrounds and majors who have interest in starring, writing, directing, and producing digital film.
The MFA would like to address the art of filmmaking as well as creating writing and acting, which Marymount has yet to see in a student developed group. The MFA will address the needs by incorporating many different students with diverse majors and different backgrounds.
Stakeholders within the MFA will be available for guidance, encouragement and leadership with the MFA’s projects. The MFA values constructive teamwork, dedication and leadership to projects assigned or created within the club. The MFA will also be encouraging members to use and explore their own artistic visions.
The MFA will bring a unique experience through its creative process as well as its ability to encourage growth within many studies.
