Diversity Receptions
Marymount Manhattan College hosts two receptions at the start of the academic year to welcome members of underrepresented groups to our community. Receptions are an opportunity to meet students, staff and faculty from different backgrounds and are open to all members of the college community.
The Office of Student Development & Activities hosts a diversity discussion series called First Wednesdays. This series gives all members of the College (students, staff and faculty) an opportunity to come together for a fruitful conversation on a specific topic in a safe and open environment. We will address different issues of diversity, inclusivity, language and behavior and how we might work together to address the topics both on- and off -campus. All conversations will last for an hour.
