Temporary Full Time Status for Students with Learning Disabilities

In exceptional cases, and for limited time periods, students with learning disabilities, who need to reduce their course load to nine credits may be granted full time status by the college. For TAP and Federal Aid, the designation of full-time status under these circumstances, does not imply that the student can continue to receive state or federal aid if he/she goes below 12 credits.

These decisions are made on a case-by-case basis by the Director for Academic Access Program in conjunction with the Vice-President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students. Students with international status or enrolled in the HEOP program would not be eligible for consideration of this policy.
