B.A. in Political Science, 1981
"We're talking about an invitingly small, academically brisk college in the Upper East Side of New York City, with access to everything that encompasses. I mean, the Whitney is right around the corner. I think of Marymount Manhattan as a little Ivy that just happens to be at 71st Street and 3rd Avenue. I don't know how you can beat being in a city this great and diverse and exciting, and still have the comfort of taking classes in a residential neighborhood."
The world through their eyes
"I remember two absolutely brilliant professors I had at MMC. One was from India, the other from Hungary. Not only were they inspiring, but by sharing their experiences, they opened my eyes (and I mean opened them wide) to the possibilities to be found in an international community."
A consistent attribute
"MMC is clearly a college that is purposeful and moving ahead. However, one of its most powerful strengths today is the same as when I was there and that is the broad demographic exposure every student gets. Different ages. Different ethnic groups. It has definitely impacted the range of people I've employed over the years."
