Charter Day 2012
On Wednesday, March 7, Marymount Manhattan College celebrated Charter Day, an event that recognizes the College’s anniversary of receiving its independent charter.
President Judson R. Shaver, Ph.D., recognized 370 years of combined service by faculty and staff. James Buckman, Chair of the Board of Trustees, also acknowledged President Shaver’s 10 years of service to the College. This year’s honorees included Linda Solomon (35 years), Richard Tietze (35 years), Robert Hawkins (30 years), Phil Myers (30 years), Stella Cortes (25 years), David Linton (25 years), Pat Simon (20 years), Diana Nash (20 years), Barbara Adrian (15 years), Oscar Rosario (15 years), Rebecca Sperling (15 years), Steven Wat (15 years), Misty Beasley (10 years), Pat Hansen (10 years), Manal Meseha (10 years), Kevin Ng (10 years), Ellen Orenstein (10 years), Wayne Santucci (10 years), James Shan (10 years), and Andrew Warshaw (10 years).
