MMC Dance Gala 2010
On May 7, 2010, MMC's Dance Department hosted its annual Dance Gala in the Theresa Lang Theatre, followed by a special champagne reception in the Great Hall. This year's Honorary Chair was Joan Finkelstein, director of dance programs for the New York City Department of Education, which supports access to quality dance education in a citywide system of 1,600 schools.
The event included a performance by the MMC Dance Company, which performed work by Robert Battle, artistic director of Battleworks Dance Company, Benoit-Swan Pouffer, artistic director of Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet and Kate Weare, artistic director of the Kate Weare Company.
